Seal the Deal
I'm not even sure if this all legal you know. Really, with all the stuff you put me through I wouldn't even reconsider hiring a lawyer to get me out this deal of yours.
Although it might seem easy becoming a Magical Girl, it doesn't come without a price. To ensure our powers and promise are kept, each Familiar has to make a contract with us.
How that is legal with a 16 year old like me I would never know. But guess magical talking animals work on different legal terms than humans do. Either way, here is how it works.
The Magica Seal
As the name applies, this seal is basically where we get all our powers from. Although it might sound like your regular contract deal, it actually is a magical incantation.
By agreeing to it, we bind ourselves to our Familiar through some weird bonding spell, allowing us to "dip" into their remaining magic resevoir. As such, we get all kinds of cool powers!
...Sometimes.
The Magical Girl Vow
Before anyone can become a Magica, one must speak out the ancient vow said to them by their Familiar before receiving their power. Remember, it has to be word by word, or else it doesn't count! Believe me, I tried it at least 4 times before I got it right.
I, (Insert name here), swear by the seal of the Magica that I shall bring justice to all those fallen under the corruption of reality. For I shall not shed my name, but gain a new one, under the alias of Magica (Insert title here).
By the name of the pure, the innocent, all those who deserve it, I shall become Magica, and you will be my Familiar, (Insert Familiar Name here).
By the sun, the moon and the stars altogether, corruption shall be purified!
Cool stuff! Once they speak the incantation properly, is there any "physical evidence" left of the contract established between the magical girl and the familiar?
Personally, I would suggest changing the excerpt/tooltip on magical girls from "mankind" to "humankind" or a different, non-gendered term.
