Councilor Christian Jonke (he/him)

Christian Jonke is a German-born Vampire and one of the current members of the Blood Council of Europe. Alongside Anna Lutz he is one of the oldest people currently sitting on the council. He is the only current member of the council who isn't opposed the consumption of human blood by Vampires. Christian sees human blood as superior to animal blood.

Family Ties

Christian's parents and wife were killed during World War 2. He and his son managed to flee Germany and hid in the United Kingdom. After the war, they returned to West Germany where they have been living ever since.

Social Aptitude

Christian is a natural leader. He is able to inspire people to do what needs to be done. It is said that after the war, the council was debating making him the new protector. In the first protector election after World War 2, he and Luis Walker were very close in the difference of votes. Only when Christian commended Luis' efforts during the war and said that he himself could never reach his level, Luis won.
