War of the Fire Spears

Very little is known of the War of the Fire Spears, as none of it was ever recorded in tongues or alphabets used today. What is known is that it was a conflict between the Empires of Illos and Althar (over what reason, none can say with any accuracy), Fire Spears were the main weapons used by both sides, and most of the human population was killed by it. This war brought about the end of the Golden Eon, and led to the Great Madness and the shattering of the Eternal Spirit.
