Personal history
Born in 1118 BSW, Candecor proved a great warrior from an early age. When the First War began, he and his father, Barin, led their soldiers to join the armies of Men in the war against the Breaker. His father being slain in 1085 BSW, Candecor became the new King of Tanivon, and he proved an able commander. In 1083 BSW, while Genric Halfshield fought the Breaker, King Candecor exploited the distraction and routed the armies of the dead, forcing the Breaker to retreat, and in 1081 BSW, Candecor won the final battle, near the southern edge of Onarith, and forced the Breaker into the north. Returning home, he immediately began to consolidate the western kingdoms, with most noble houses flocking to his banner. He formed the Kingdom of Eacil, and soon all of the mainland west of the Anguin Mountains was under his control. He died peacefully in his sleep in 1059 BSW, and his dynasty would reign over Eacil until the Second War.
