Cosmology

The cosmology of Damaeus, in which Macalgra lies, is complex. Once perhaps there was some divine plan, but so many Divine have meddled with the universe that its existence is a labyrinth of realms and planes. Cosmology, as studied by the astronomers and astrologers of Macalgra, centers on known existence; the fragment of the universe trapped within the bubble of the Serpent of the Moon's power. Beyond lies infinite space that neither Divine nor man has explored; the realm of Guamata.
At the center of known space is Macalgra, placed in the exact center of existence by the Divine when they built it to be a garden of paradise. It is orbited by a moon - in reality the coiled form of the Serpent of the Moon, and by a sun; the Divine form of Arven, Divine of Light. Once Macalgra had a truly physical sun, but it was broken by Arven as a child and he was tasked with replacing its radiance.
Beyond the sun and the moon lie the realms of the Divine and further beyond the stars - themselves myriad small realms in which lie the halls of the Feos.
