Dianxes past is mysterious, nobody is sure of when it was founded, who by or for what purpose. However an educated guess can be made due to the abundance of a resource called "Solar". Solar is a seemingly inert material but when heated to an exact temperature expands and reacts massively. The secrets of this fuel is closely guarded, with many governments, corporations and even pirates all trying to get their hands on it. As a result the people of Dianxe seem closed off and distant, exporting power intense materials such processed aluminium, steel, fertilisers. As the price of electrical energy is so cheap on this planet, corporations and mining ships often use Dianxe as the place to sell unprocessed ore.

The Followers of Talos have a large following here. The followers as they are referred to on planet are a popular religion that believe in abolishing the planets laws on mal-tech. Mal-technologies are the technologies that the Terran mandate in its prime outlawed all research on, this includes AI, weapons of mass destruction and human-genetic engineering.
The idea of technology run amok has a lot of the more informed governments and factions in Maanra Theta worried, as history shows the disasters that mal-tech can cause.
