The Clink
“I am a man of fortune and must seek my fortune.”Even pirates have to eat, sleep and most important... drink. Although most of them are living on their beloved ship, they love to have some time off and enjoy the finest food and prettiest girls, and when they can the go to "the Clink".
The clink (original named "Red Rose Inn") used to be a good place to eat, but .. well... lets say it isn't anymore. Pirate cooks lack ... finesse?
Purpose / Function
The inn (or brothel) is not known for the high standards of cooking, its freshness or cheap prices.
the way to expensive food is lousy, bland and tastless or just gross.
The boose is watery and the rooms.... well they smell. It stinks. There is blood on the floor, its way too warm and smells like piss, sweat and other nasty things. The pirates are not the finest and they certainly don't shower a lot, so perhaps they dont know better or they don't care.
working people
The males and females that 'work' here as "entertainment", are more in for the gold then into relations. "you want something? you pay for it."Alterations
originally the sleeping rooms had decent doors, with locks, but most of them are broken down, removed and most are replaced with dirty cloths. Privacy is... well not that much and lets be honest, pirates dont care. they just want to relieve themselves.
Architecture
A square stone building with a a cross section of stone walls. the rooms are divided into smaller 'rooms' and a place to do 'business'. The rooms are improvised with wooden panels (yes, with holes and cracks) and certainly not sound proof.
History
the "Red Rose Inn"once a beautiful stone building with 8 large rooms on the second floor. now degraded to probably the worst place in town.
Tourism
pirates ... more pirates and other scum
