Introduction

The Aldarian Denarii is the currency system used in most of the Eldurina Continent and recognized in all of Lysandus as valid currency. Occasionally a merchant in a country outside of Aldaria may request you take your Denarii to a money changer but most accept it outright.

Currency Categorization

The highest coin denomination in the Aldarian Denarii System is the Denarii Aurei. The Aurei is a solid gold coin which equals 30 Silver Denarii. The Silver Denarii, or typically referenced simply as the Denarii, are the next highest in the system. A Denarii Sterling is equal to half a Denarii. After the Denarii Sterling, or simply called by locals, the Sterling, is the Denarii Sestertii. The Denarii Sestertii, also known as simply a Sestertii, are one fourth a Denarii and therefore half a sterling.
For Example:

1 Aurei = 30 Denarii = 60 Sterling = 120 Sestertii

Manufacturing process

These coins are forged by the king's coin makers via melting and then pressing at the coin presses.
