Spiderpus

These somewhat strange creatures tend to live close to ponds, rivers, and/or lakes. While they can sometimes attack people, generally speaking they tend to themselves and aren't very aggressive or territorial. On rainy days, they like to explore their surrounding areas outside of the water and will often be seen trying to climb trees. It is unknown why they try to do this, but the current theory is that they believe more water is higher up at the top of the trees because the rain is always coming from up above.

Basic Information

Anatomy

They are generaly 3-4 feet tall and only 1 foot wide. They are always a bright blue and camouflage very well when in clear water. When in the water, they spin and squeeze their bodies to make themselves cut through water more easily. When on land, they use their tentacle-like appendages to move around.

Dietary Needs and Habits

They don't eat anything outside of seaweed and various small aquatic creatures. This is believed to be the reason why they aren't particularly aggressive or territorial towards other creatures in general.
