Clear Slime

Mid-sized and low acidic slimes, their danger comes from not their acid but their ability to almost completely disappear from sight. Living in more urban areas, they find something to eat and then hide, go invisible and slowly dissolve their meal.
While normaly not seeking violence, they are quick to strike when touched and disturbed, using their abilities to form long solid quills to strike like a viper. Add their invisibility into the mix and they can be very deadly if not handled properly or with caution.
Soldiers will often hunt them down because a clear slime is never welcomed in cities or villages. Soldiers often tend to bring bright lights, looking for a transparent gleam.
The slimes aren't really social with other creatures or even with their own kind, often being alone or in a small pack of three to four, usually fighting amongst themselves if one comes back with food.
