The Great March into Bodh Saxur

This is the report of Fra-Leq-Kan's funeral, who has been on a sea voyage as he died (check: Fra's Last Years). It was the last of the Journeys of Fra-Leq-Kan.

A new chieftain

Before he died, Fra-Leq-Kan ruled out Zu-Leq as his successor. Zu-Leq, the daughter of Ehn-Leq and Ra-Leq, was very talented and intelligent.
Shortly before his death Fra-Leq-Kan gathered her and her parents to announce his decision to make Zu-Leq the new chieftain. Ehn was indignant, and criticized him. Zu-Leq was too young an a women. She could not become chieftain. But Fra explained to him how wrong tradition was, because Teya never wanted it like that (check: last part of Ma-Tey's Betrayal). He knew Zu-Leq to be the wisest of his tribe, and therefore she should become his successor.

Departure

Teyanische Länder

Yet, before Zu-Leq could go on her pilgrimage to become chieftain, Fra died. The dragnarians had great respect for Fra. That is why they wanted to honor him by bringing him to his last resting place themselves. They loaded Fra into their ship at Faw, and started the journey up the Niive to bring him there.
The teyans accompanied the ship by land. If the river became to narrow or to shallow, the the two races animated it through. The teyan earth animations and the dragnarian water animations added to each other very nicely.

Fras Funeral

This journey took a whole 4 months. During this time a lot of teyan tribes, that came to know of Fra's death, joined in the pilgrimage. They consisted of the four ancient tribes, the Rei tribe, Lir tribe, Pan tribe, and many more. In the end nearly every teyan had joined this formation of pilgrims. Everyone wanted to pay their respects to Fra.
All of those moved into Bodh Saxur together, where they were greeted ceremoniously, even the dragnarians. A new ancestral hall was build for the Leq tribe, like it was customary for each accepted tribe. There Fra was layed to rest.

A new market

After a few days the dragnarian and teyan ancients came together to talk and exchange ideas. The dragnarians came to meet the city and it's goods. Among those was the lake on the mountain plateau, were the source of the Niive was located. The dragnarians offered to turn the lake into a healing bath, as a gift. For this they got their own entrance into the city through the giant city wall, which was never granted any other living being before - a giant gate that lead to the river.
As the dragnarians traveled back home, a few of the them even dared to join one of the teyan tribes, and travel to the north on land. Together they build a big road from Quenterra via Bodh Thalve to Bodh Saxur, which made traveling over land between the two places much easier, and sped up trading between the two races.
At first glance:
Fra-Leq-Kan died and his last journey was imminent, how it was customary for a teyan chieftain. He was accompanied by his family the Leq tribe, his dragnarian friends, a huge number of other teyans, and even Teya herself. Together all of those journeyd to Bodh-Saxur to lay him to rest.
