Archon

All archons appear robotic, with white alsteel armor covering variously colored cable-like viscera. Their power varies, but each is unique and superbly competent. Only one has ever been known to die, yet the circumstances surrounding this even are obscure and concerns their origins, which most mortal sapients are not privy to. Another has been 'destroyed', in a sense, but is not truly deceased. Whatever power created the archons has been dubbed 'the Aons', but nothing is known of them. The term may be meaningless if the archons created themselves, or are eternal. There are 254 active archons.
