Cerberus Corps

Cerberus Corps was an elite group of guardians that oversaw security in the Tower of Hades. They reported directly to the Magician. Whenever the Magician left the tower on an excursion to procure new artifacts, information, or any other reason, they assigned a detail for protection. It’s unclear if the Magician needed personal protection. Everyone assumed their power was too great to need any assistance, but the theatrical nature of the Magician was well known; it was to be expected.
The Cerberus Corps operatives dressed in black leather armor, accented with red, and a shining silver outline of a three-headed dog on the back. A patch on the shoulder denoted the two main ranks. A glittering silver claw belonged to the standard footsoldier, a highly skilled fighter, and war-magic trainee. The luminescent ruby fang symbolized a commander; still a highly skilled fighter, but also an advanced practitioner of war magic. Combining physical skills with magical attacks in fights to create a deadly combination.


Far rarer still are the emerald viper head emblems. These are the personal assassins for the Magician and the Tower. They exist to take care of problems with alacrity and precision. They would extinguish any problem before anyone else even realized there was going to be one.


The Vipers of Cerberus took commands only from the Magician and none other. They were unruly and either due to the selection of a specific person or because of the training. Either way, successful Vipers tended to be somewhat unhinged individuals. They often made others within the Cerberus Corps feel uneasy.


The Tower of Hades was the main headquarters and jurisdiction for Cerberus Corps, but they also helped police the rest of the planet. They rarely performed direct action unless requested by local law enforcement, but they would do routine check-ins with departments across the globe. They helped make sure everything was running smoothly and according to operational guidelines sent down from the Tower.
