Grandos

On Grandos, the war is raging. The Federal Republic has lost Mayim’s Gate and the surrounding cities. Being forced back to the city of New Castle and behind the Bridged Peaks. The mercenary army of the Free Gnomish city, having been broken at the siege of New Castle, is now in shambles. The Duchesses’ army is now forced to regroup and redeploy with the Bridgepoint pass having been caved in. The core cities of the Federal Republic remain largely unaffected, other than the low morale from bad news. The same cannot be said for the other provinces. Shortages of food, water, medicine, and other personnel and supplies are now in every providence outside the capital. The Free City has started mass arrests of ‘Republic Sympathizers’ the evidence presented is shipping reports, intelligence gathered from gossip, and other whispers heard by the Gnomish Intelligence Agency. Within the Duke’s Dust, life has returned to normal. The war now exists far off from their homes, and the women return for leave regularly.

Ilthim

Across the narrow straight, the frigid and frozen land of Ilthim and its three kingdoms stand. The three kingdoms are always on the brink of war, and now is no different. Adventurers and mercenaries are sent to raid and pillage the lands of neighbors and then disowned when caught. However, since late last year, something has been sturring in the south. The Frost Giants and their king have been making more frequent attacks and raids on the Southern Range. They are rumored to be searching for something, but no one knows what. They cart off Stone Giants and people alike.

Spire

The large and open fields of Spire stretch out for as far as one can see. The major Tremad tribes wander across the Golden Expanse or traveling between the Great Trees of the Greywood. The tribe of Eten was seen with its Spirit Callers flying and Mounted Archers ridding beside it headed towards a massive onyx black shadow. Rummer says this was a Night Elf tribe that lived in the Saratin Mountains. However, no one knows why they would fight the Tribe of Eten. The Stone Cities of Spire have refused to share anything else regarding the attack except that Eten arrived at the city of Luime.

Dwarvish Isles

Hurried footsteps can be heard echoing around the halls of the great mountain home Montare or the One Home as it is in common. The countless clans are all abuzz with gossip but above all is the rumors of the three ships. In 1492 three ships were sent to the Duke’s Dust but were tragically lost at sea. Or so many thought. More information has come to light in recent days suggesting that these three ships may not have been lost but attacked. The four governing clans are outraged, and the Quorum and Court have been called to Montare; many expect them to demand answers and retribution.

Confederation of Sea Metropolises

Under the seas stand the Sea Metropolises. All four domed cities stand as beacons of power, wealth, and prestige. The mines of Tsura can be heard day and night as iron, copper, and coal are extracted in haste. Doton’s dome is now black with soot and smoke. Their forges run as long as Tsura’s mines. The Confederation is amassing weapons, ships, and more underneath the waves.
