Summer Camp is upon us once again! It is time to rally the Words and man the Keyboards. It is time for the Wizards of Worldbuilding to summon forth the Ideas from that mystical plane of Inspiration. It is time to banish the Brain Goblins of self-doubt from the realm. It is time to raise the Hammer of Creativity, and strike the Metal of Potential against the WorldAnvil while it is glowing hot. It is time to go forth and worldbuild!
Motivation
This July will be my 3
rd Summer Camp I will have participated in. It represents an excellent
excuse opportunity to work on the setting of Lukkein, to explore the concepts and expand the world's lore. And also to get a shiny badge. Shiny badges are always nice to hoard.
- Expanse: The world of Mundda is a world of diverse and varied terrain.
- Leadership: Every settlement, tribe, and organisation needs a leader, somebody to provide purpose and direction to those who follow.
- Discovery: There is still much that is unknown about the world and its inhabitants, the strange, psychosensitive Lukkein.
- Monstrous: Between the dangerous Lukkein, and the villainous antagonists, there is much here that can be considered monstrous.
I may also do some work on the setting of
Blood Well, if I think that the prompt fits that setting better.
Goals
My initial goal is to complete 8 prompts, but I will at least attempt to complete as many as I reasonably can beyond that initial 8. Diamond, 31 prompts, is the ultimate dream to reach for, but at a minimum of 300 words per article and with my work schedule, this seems unlikely for me to achieve.
