Yeenoghu
Once, Yeenoghu attempted to become a god by devouring the divine essence of Shar as he, very much erroneously, took her mild manners for weakness. While the now Demon Lord was never the most subtle, he did have a sinister way of plotting. When he attacked Shar, he had amassed a great deal of power and might have been a serious threat had the Goddess of Darkness not already foreseen his moves. She struck Yeenoghu's mind and stripped away any barriers to the most base of instincts. He was unable to retain control over his armies of rabid creations (most notably the gnolls), he fled into the Abyss.
To Yeenoghu, beasts are the ideal. Now it, as that is the more appropriate pronoun, is completely feral. The hunt is everything, and it constantly hungers for the parts of itself that were ripped from its soul. It believes itself a god, divine spark or not, and will cultivate brutal cults when it is coherent enough.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Yeenoghu resembles a huge bipedal beast. It has massive muscles that are able to rip almost anything in front of it apart. Its jaws can bite through Adamantine with little effort. It doesn't really wear clothes but is draped in the skins, and other parts, of previous prey.
Mental characteristics
Personal history
Yeenoghu sprung forth from the Abyss sometime before the First Breaking . He fought his way up the ranks, often devouring other demons to gain their strengths. By the time he made his misjudged attack on Shar, it was no wonder he though himself up to the task. Even Demogorgon, generally thought of as the most powerful demon lord in terms of sheer power, feared him.
These days, Yeenoghu is still feared because of its strength, but most consider it easy enough to distract it.
Gender Identity
While traditionally considered male, Yeenoghu is more of a natural force than gendered.
