Would you want some beer, but would prefer to not pay much, this might be the place for you. It is also a great place to go to if you're interested in seeking out those of more dubious moral character.
The quality of the tavern reflects its prices. Most of it is run-down, sometimes patched several times over, and there is plenty of sand in the corners. The basement houses a semi-illegal fighting ring, but since it's mostly ruffians beating up each other without harming anyone else, both the Protectors and the House Seelon Guard mostly look the other way. The ground floor and the two upper floors are meant for socializing, and to some extent allows for private meetings.

Entering the fighting ring includes an equal bet from all participants, but at least 1 gp. The house takes a 20% cut, the winner takes the rest and provided they made enough money for the house they are often provided unlimited ale for the rest of the night.
