The Great Fortune Bed War
The sheer indignance of this. This is awful. You are a dignified giant speaker. There is no reason that you should partake in this ridiculous activity. But alas, you must, or you will be utterly destroyed. Solemnly, you raise your large pillow above your hand, and bring it down upon your enemies with ease.
The Conflict
Prelude
The history of this was something no one really expected. At an biannual meeting of the leaders of the Fortune Land Flowers, 46 people joined up for a formal meeting lasting five days. This meeting is used to discuss unity, fixing common problems, and communication with the giants via the 10 giant speakers present and their governing ideas. This is their typical remedy for many issues, and it has worked quite well. At this specific meeting however, things spiraled out of control. A giant speaker, in a fit of anger threw a cup of coffee at a leader who accused him of being a liar. This quickly escalated into a full scale food fight.
Deployment
There were 46 people participating. Two leaders from each flower city joined up as well as 10 giant speakers that came here. This was to assure that every flower had equal representation in the meetings.
Battlefield
The 'battlefield' was firstly a large dining room with a long table adorned with various sized chairs for the wide variety of leaders.
The Engagement
This battle began with a huge food fight. The ammunition used was mostly light airy pastries, hard candies, various chocolates, and other desert foods. The moods varied between furious and incredibly lighthearted, but the battle seemed to get more and more amusing as time went on. Many were actually upset when the kitchen called for the end of the fight. They went back to sleeping quarters, but many were still hyped after the fight beforehand. They decided to call for an organized battle the next day, with a better medium. They battled for many hours with soft beddings, and eventually pillows became the preferred medium.
Outcome
The immediate aftermath of this was that it relieved the tensions caused by the meetings, allowing it to flow more easily. However, it did spark a few rivalries that took years to fully settle.

Legacy
This battle created a new tradition, popular among people of all ages, to settle disputes with a bed war. It is a fight between any arguing parties, but fought with pillows, blankets, and various leaves instead of swords. This almost eradicated dueling as well, replacing it with a less lethal variant.
