Locked away in a box made of stone lies a powerful truths and lies, to man they are unknown. Most call it the Box of Knowledge of Good and Evil, for that is the name given to it by the Celestial above. Some call it the End Box, for it is widely believed that the box would bring about the end of the world as known. Others call it the Fruit Box, for it was found in an orchard.   But one thing is for sure: Should they open it, humanity would be in peril. The era known as the Golden Age would come to a swift closing, and anyone unlucky enough to survive would only be met by the coming of Evil. Concepts such as despair and vice, which they had yet to know of, would break the once hopeful and virtuous spirit of humanity.   On the 18th dawn of the twelfth moon of Year 501, the box went missing. All that was left was the chiseled cover, tossed aside carelessly by the thief, and a message written with charcoal that read: “I have seen what lies inside that box. We are all being deceived and must fight back. Here starts the new age.”   In the next few dawns following, there was subtle yet evident change in the way the humans would interact with one another. The opening of the Box of Knowledge of Good and Evil sparked various new feelings in the minds and hearts of fragile humanity. Such as violence, jealousy, avarice, laziness, narcissism, carnality, despair, corruption, and many more.   They were no longer satisfied with what they had, either. They desired more and what others had but they not. They lusted and they craved for things that they claimed to be “needs”. A few desired the attention and praise of others. Some did not desire at all, and simply lazed about, waiting for the end of time. The word “enough” no longer held much meaning and power.   Monsters were born. Monsters roamed the World. Monsters terrorized the World. Monsters took over the World. Monsters became Humanity.. Or rather, Humanity became Monsters.   Death upon death. From the box, seven destructive spirits escaped. Stages and stages of grief. The spirits would serve only to corrupt the hearts and minds of those too weak to resist their temptations. Endlessly spiraling madness.   After few moons had passed, humanity began to lose hope. The loss of a world leader had only served to further dwindle their spirit. The Celestial they once looked up to had not contacted them. They were left with their bitter thoughts and cursed the Heavens and were sucked closer still to the event horizon. Humanity had eventually decided to stop being dependent and pick themselves back up on their own.   There was a strange, dissonant peace during this time. It lasted for many, many moons. Humanity continued to develop, adapt, and evolve. Things changed in those years, so much so that you’d be surprised. Thus marked the beginning of Rehabilitation.
