• Ability Score Modifiers: +2 Wisdom, +1 Charisma. OR choose one of (a) Any +2, any other +1 or (b) Any +1, any other +1, any other +1.

• Size: You are medium.

• Speed: 30 feet.

• Celestial Resistance: You have resistance to necrotic damage and radiant damage.

• Darkvision: You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light and in darkness as if it were dim light. You discern colors in that darkness only as shades of gray.

• Daybreak's Bell: You know the Toll the Dead cantrip. Once you reach 3rd level, you can cast the Silence spell once with this trait, and you regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. Once you reach 5th level, you can cast the Daylight spell once with this trait, and you regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells, which you choose when you select this race.

• Tireless Precision: You are proficient in one of the following skills of your choice: Arcana, History, Insight, Investigation, Medicine, or Performance. You are also proficient with one tool of your choice. Whenever you make an ability check with the chosen skill or tool, roll a d4 and add the number rolled to the check's total.

• Language: You begin play speaking, reading, and writing Common and one language in which you were raised, which for the Witan is typically Aelfric. You may, if desired, choose one bonus language that you and your DM agree is appropriate.

• Size: Witan are Medium creatures.

• Type: The Witan are Outsiders with the Native subtype.

• Base Speed: 30 Feet

• Languages: Witans begin play speaking Aelfric. Witans with high Intelligence may choose from any additional language.

• Celestial Resistance: Witan have Acid Resistance 5, Cold Resistance 5, and Electricity Resistance 5.

• Darkvision: The Witan can see perfectly in the dark up to 60 feet.

• Daylight: The Witan can use daylight once per day as a spell-like ability (caster level equal to Witan’s class level).

• Truespeaker: Witan command of the spoken word transcends all boundaries. They gain a +2 bonus on Linguistics and Sense Motive checks, and they learn two languages each time they gain a rank in Linguistics.
