The Ratfolk

Radiant Knights of the Edelweiss

Chivalrous and honest, pious and strong, the honourable Ratfolk of Edelweiss are dreary dull to most other races. Standing as tall as the average man but with a bestial strength, the Ratfolk make some of the most daunting and worthy knights in the world. Great romantics by nature, tales of the great deeds done by Ratfolk have left an indelible mark on Kaena and consist of some of the greatest epics in the world.

Those Ratfolk who don’t strive for knighthood instead either spend their lives cloistered behind abbey walls in prayer to the God-King Elior, or farming lands with their large families that have stayed in their bloodlines for countless generations. Because of their romantic nature many Ratfolk seek out a living as a Bard, telling tall tales of the chivalry of the great Rat Knights and penning astounding works of poetry, literature, and music.
