The Half-Elves

Beloved By All

Half-Elves, the offspring of an Elf and any another species, live a charmed life in Kaena. They are fetishized by men, regardless of their other half, as exotic and desirable, and beloved by the Elves as a declaration of the essence of love. As if they were a favourite child to all the races of the world, a Half-Elf is welcome wherever they choose to spend their lives... except for in the world of Dwarves. Though Half-Elves are not hated by them, the mixing of peoples is an odd thing to the Dwarves, who naturally feel they are above all other things in creation, and so view half-elves with an unfriendly, almost confused curiosity - as though they were looking at something that simply should not exist.   When choosing to play a Half-Elf, you must decide which species make up your other half. Because in Elven society there is nothing more important than the bonds of love and family, they know no barriers of race or gender and so your non-Elf parent may be of any other species. However, not all species are biologically compatible regardless of the affection your parents feel towards one another, and couples of non compatible species will have to turn to magical means to produce an unnatural offspring.   Biologically Compatible Species: Daeva, Dwarves, Efreeti, Elves, Goblins, Halflings, Humans, Hobgoblins, Naiads, Orcs, Pixies, Skinwalkers, Witan
