STANDARD RACIAL TRAITS
  • Ability Score Modifiers: +2 Strength, +1 Constitution. OR choose one of (a) Any +2, any other +1 or (b) Any +1, any other +1, any other +1.
  • Size: Medium
  • Speed: 30 Feet
  • Lorekeeper: You have proficiency in the History skill.
  • Sunlight Sensitivity: You have disadvantage on attack rolls and Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight when you, the target of your attack, or whatever you are trying to perceive is in direct sunlight.
  • Tremorsense: You are sensitive to vibrations in the ground and can automatically pinpoint the location of anything that is in contact with the ground within 20 feet of you.
  • Fearless: You have advantage on saving throws against being frightened.
  • Relentless Endurance: When you are reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, you can drop to 1 hit point instead. You can't use this feature again until you finish a long rest.
  • Languages: You begin play speaking, reading, and writing Common and one language in which you were raised, which for the Badgerkin is typically Aelfric. Badgerkin may, if desired, choose one bonus language that you and your DM agree is appropriate.

  • Type: The Badgerkin are Humanoids with the Badger subtype.
  • Base Speed: 30 Feet
  • Languages: The Badgerkin begin play speaking Aelfric and Common. Badgerkin with high intelligence may choose additional languages from: Ghukliuk, Moksha, Otchipwe, and Runic.
  • Nearsighted: All ranged attacks Badgerkin make suffer a -2 penalty, and the range increment for all ranged attacks and ranged, sight-based Perception checks are halved.
  • Fearless: Badgerkin gain a +2 racial bonus on saving throws against fear effects, and a +1 racial bonus to CMD to avoid being grappled.
  • Lorekeeper: Badgerkin have long memories keep detailed oral and runic histories of their racial lineage. They receive a +2 racial bonus on Knowledge (History) checks that pertain to other Badgerkin and their ancestors' great deeds. They can make such skill checks untrained.
  • Scent: The Badgerfolk can detect approaching enemies, sniff out hidden foes, and track by sense of smell. They can identify familiar odors just as humans do familiar sights.
