Halfling

Halflings live in close-knit communities called clans.   From the outside, their burrows resemble small low hills. Inside, their homes are warm, dry, and comfortable. Each burrow contains a long hallway that ends at the kitchen, a sitting room by the door, a pantry off the kitchen, and 3 or 5 bedrooms off the hallway.   Clan membership is passed down by the father. Children are encouraged to date members of the Clan neither parent comes from. Due to this, the three clans are genetically similar, though tend towards different professions.
