Willamdorf Hegemony
Geography
Willamdorf lies at the very heart of Hebronia, though it is afforded considerable protection with natural barriers. The Dorspree Mountains lie to the southeast, separating the Hegemony from the tiny principalities of Vastalatz and Lemesborg. The Zorspitzug and several large forest regions in the south and southwest provide a barrier against the Kingdom of Augries and the Duchy of Danvrees. The east of the kingdom borders the Sable Sea with a rough coastline and many small bays and islands. The west is protected by the River Ormlitz and the great mountainous Rornricht Forest. The north is the least well defended, with only the River Ullalof providing modest protection.Structure
Like most kingdoms in Hebronia, Willamdorf is divided into duchies, counties, baronies and fiefdoms.

Population: 4.3 million
Willamdorf's population is largely homogeneous, despite its central location in the continent. Historical migrations were limited to areas with peoples of the same stock as the dominant Thuranian culture. Invaders throughout history were also always outnumbered by the local population and were eventually absorbed over time.

The people of Willamdorf maintain the same respect for martial prowess as their tribal ancestors did centuries ago and maintaining this proud legacy is chief among the concerns of her rulers. Recent doctrines have been considerably more defensible in nature, relying on the natural borders to the south, beyond which lies the kingdom's main rival in the region; the Kingdom of Augries. The military is relatively small compared to its larger southern neighbour, though their strong faith in Marathianism ensures a good morale. Well-motivated militiamen armed with pikes and halberds form the backbone of the army, relying on powerful mounted knights to guard their ranks. Willamdorf also makes heavy use of lightly armoured mercenary cavalry from the north who are used to run down routing forces. Their missile troops favour crossbows.
