Kingdoms have always had military, guards and patrolmen to not only protect their borders, but to keep their people in line. Bandits, thugs and swindlers can be dealt with by strength of arm. but what happens when magic enters the equation? The ruling class throughout the world take on various forms of magical protection and magical enforcement. Guided by magical advisors there are often elite units, the inquisitors, specialised units in taking down magical threats to those who employ them. They have spread through the land as folklore and a cautionary tale against using magic in a selfish manner.
