Tetraite

At one point the Tetraites were indistinguishable both culturally and physically from the Munraite as they were a small offshoot of lower caste Munraites who fled west under persecution and threat during the Sacking of The North and even now hold many similarities. Under the guidance of one of the Legendary Heroes and aide of the Waelsaung, they found refuge in the Tetra Forests, and with the Burning of Souls, they and the forest around them eventually began evolving. Now more similar to the animals and wilderness they built a society with, they adapted to their new forested and mountainous home and thrived to now become one of the most powerful factions on Lislow with abilities and a culture to match

Culture

Major language groups and dialects

The Tetraite dialect is more guttural and animalistic than the other Lislanders. Short and to the point and even it's more nobler local dialects contain a great many grunts and wild limb movies to convey points and emotion.

Shared customary codes and values

The Tetraites revere and nearly worship the fauna and animals they share the forests with, being very careful to be both mindful of those they share it with and not to let their expansion and technological advancements harm it. For such a large populous it's cities and people are quiet and can sound just like the background noise of any forest if you don't know what to listen for.
Animals and sentient fauna are kept as pets, but often treated just as equals, depending on sentients and intelligence, and even those not are given easy purpose and very little is ever wasted or left to rot.

Common Customs, traditions and rituals

It's very customary to leave children alone in the wilderness from a very young age to allow them to adapt and learn the ways of the wilderness and Tetra Forest in their own ways. While there are predators in within the forests, they know that to harm a young Tetraite is dangerous, and becoming a familiar or pet is a natural inclination for most.
Tetraites pass the Burning Of Souls in a very mournful manner as their King had a direct hand in it and repeats it's his single greatest regret. The day is usually on that is grim and in remembrance of the Talthorians lost in the initial incident, and Lislanders lost in the ensuing wars.
