While their legacy will always be as the Founders and acting government of Sun'seir, they were widely known for decades before as originally they were the personal adventuring party of Legendary Hero, Kiedent Celeste. Originally they were formed to help the Free Lislowan Territories deal with the great emergence of monsters and mutated Creatures, they were also all devotees and the chosen of Nochar and brought together specifically for that purpose.

After the founding of Suns'eir and its schools they accepted few into their ranks, in favor of funneling new recruits into the general Paladin populace and when the town around the Stronghold began growing large enough to need guidance, the Guild was technically disbanded each member was given a branch of government to lead.
Never officially, as their main duties were just changed from active field duty to bureaucracy, and they have returned to the field under extreme circumstance.
