Agni Amelani
Lord Agni Amelani (a.k.a. The Cursed Shadow)
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Well-trained and as fit as a Tetraite could possibly be, with one of the largest BurningPools known to Lislanders. Seemingly not particuarly muscular, but thats because he's been permanently Enhanced for thousands of years and has the strength and speed unnatural to the best.
Identifying Characteristics
Always known to be wearing a black cloak who's deep and low hood produces thick black smoke that dissapates around his face, keeping his identiy secret at all times.
Physical quirks
Special abilities
Elemental Control: (Darkness Manipulation)
His signature ability, effeciently used in both offensive, defensive and utility capabilities. Most commonly he uses them to camoflogue and hide his person to near invisibility, as tendrils for offensive actions or materialized into a shield of some sort.
Physical: (Prowess)
Even though he is already naturally and permentatly enhanced beyond normal standards, he still can use rudimentary Enhancement to extraordinary length and boost his base abilities to even greater heights.
Mental characteristics
Personal history
Shrowded in mystery and misdirection, not a lot is widely known about The Shards elusive Lislander in the shadows. To most he is an old Tetraite who has lead and survived numerous of Lislows wars, and is the companion of the legendary Talthorians Maceadon Aleanth and Qenaz Aleanth, a stern and dangerous man that if you're seeing you're destined to die.
Education
While officially Agni has never gone through the Lyceum, because he predates it by several hundred years, he is known to be a master of several branches of SoulBurning, knowledgable in Talthorian abilities and a master of several weapons.
Employment
With his youth and origin shrouded in mystery, much of his career path is unknown, but he grew in notiriaty for taking many jobs that were legally gray and ranging from 'retrieval' to 'rehabilitation' to alleged mild cases of kidnapping. Now he is widely recognized as a high ranking member of The Shards and second-in-command to the Guild Master.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Not one to brag about his exploits, not a lot is directly connected to Agni, not nearly as much as he actually did. From the wars with Talthorians, the breaking of the Munrai Empire, and the SoulBurn wars, he had a large and often critical role in them all. In more modern times he's a lot less seen and lays relatively low, but is just as active with The Shards.
Failures & Embarrassments
Not few or far between. No matter his wisdom, experience, or goodwill, Agni has admittedly made several critical errors during his active adventuring years that have resulted in death and/or destruction. Including, but not limited to the disappearance of Maceadon Aleanth and Qenaz Aleanth, Bryce's moral descent, and allegedly the death of King Jashmoto
Mental Trauma
Secretly, Agni has always suffered from overthinking and questioning his own desicions, that has often led him down pits of despair, even if he keeps a brave face for the world. For many years he was plagued by nightmares of the first Talthorian wars and the atrocities committed, and later suffered great guilt over the death of the previous members of The Shards and dissapearance of his best friends.
Intellectual Characteristics
Personality Characteristics
Motivation
Virtues & Personality perks
Loyal to a fault and admittedly so.
Not a 'great friend', but to those who have earned his loyalty enough for him to lower his guard can find him to be a rather gentle and compassionate person always there to lend a sympathetic ear to plights he would take on as his own if he could.
Hygiene
Not once ever seen cleaning himself, or anything around him, but always seemingly immaculately clean outside of battle and while he usually has no scent whatsoever, especially nothing noticably due to the nature of his work, outside of his job he is known to have a faint earth and woody smell.
Social
Social Aptitude
Rather gruff and curt to most, especially the newer generation, but can be found to be very agreeable and conversational when more relatable topics come up. He usually speaks with a rather elegant and articulate accent and phrasing, unusual for Tetraites which he claims to be.
