Session 1: The Lifebloom Festival Report

General Summary

The Lifebloom Festival was unfolding with merriment and celebration filling the Market Square of Sherborne. Xenovu sold his delicious fresh fish and fish snacks drawing a decent-sized. Stig attempted to instruct festival-goers with his katas but failed to draw much attention except a large brute who want to have a fight and he bored and defused the man quickly. Miriele wanders the festival enjoying all of the street fair food and mesmerized by the entertainment as he eats. Ewan wheels in his sister's food cart to sell her good from the Toasted Scale Bakery and have a little sales competition with Xenovu. Surge enjoy treats from both stands, inventing the cookie-fish sandwich. Asai tells a chilling tale to a group of children, eventually scaring them off, and then locks up shop and makes her way to the festival.

Everyone has a blast at the festival and as evening approached the crowds gathered and grew larger. The night finally falls and the fireworks show lights up the evening sky. As the fireworks ended cries went up as alerts of a fire in Old Town. Racing on the PC's find the source of the fire, Harlon's Homely Books is in fire and the PCs race to investigate. Inside they find bandits raid and setting the shop on fire.

A battle ensues, managing to eliminate nearly all the bandits and capturing one. They find the remains of the "Life of the Silver Maiden" bio of Lilathris, Thoron's scimitar on one of the bandits, and the black raven tattoo on the bandit's bodies. They try to save some books as well. They attempted to interrogate the survivor, but get little info other than Thoron may be dead or in trouble and that they had successfully gotten what they wanted. They turn the survivor over to the town sheriffs and Xenovu drops info with The Blades, the rest of the group then makes their way to the last know residents of Thoron. Upon reaching the house, they found the lock broken and knocking opens the door to the smell of iron in the air.
