The Democratic Revolution (De Democratique Revoluchion)

The Democratic Revolution was a civil movement that deposed the then King Lathas, the Idiot and instaurated a representative democratic regime on Monarchy's place. It was led by Dimitri, a human warrior that was sick of the idiocracy of Lathas and the other kings and queens, and helped build the uprising agaisnt the goverment.

The Conflict

Prelude

A strong plague named Dovic was hitting the kingdom hard while Lathas, the Idiot, did nothing to improve the people's health and well being. Tired of kings and queens that did nothing for them, The United People of Rockvar, along with the Scholars, Merchants, the Miltaries and Adventurers factions got together to depose the King and instaurate a democracy.

Deployment

The Merchants, the Adventurers and The People were doing lots and lots of riots and protests in Byen Engler to remove Lathas as king. The only thing left to do was bring the Miliraries to their side, and on March, the 6th, a group of adventurers convinced the soldiers and guards of the city to join up the insurrection. 
After that, the four factions marched to the former King's Castle, near Byen Engler, and decapitated Lathas. The royal family was expelled from Rockvar and fled to Heim. After that, the six factions of Rockvar got together and decided who they were going to elect as the firsts Regents.

Battlefield

The battle was quick and rapid, since only the royal guards tried to defend the King.

Outcome

The then king of Rockvar, Lathas the 4th, were deposed from his sovereign title and six Regents were chosen, by each faction of the kingdom (Nobles, Merchants, Scholars, Adventurers, Military and The People)

Aftermath

The Representative Democracy was instaurated in Rockvar's kingdom and many years passed with this type of governorship
