Day of New Olthica
Olthicans celebrate this day as the day the Second Far Treaty was signed. It is both a day of mourning for what was and celebration for what is to come.
History
The first observance of this day was on 3/78/2415, one year after the Second Far Treaty was signed allowed Olthicans to move into the Far Peninsula and out of blighted Olthica-That-Was. This saved them from a harsh, hungry winter, and many more to come.
Execution
All Olthicans wear white in mourning. The celebrations begin at sunset with a traditional mourning song before proceeding to celebratory. There is then a feast of grains and vegetable that ends with the traditional apple-nut tart re-purposed from Mid-Dortyne.
