Tamarah Farouk

Tamarah Farouk

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Tamarah presents herself as a lithe and slender girl, albeit packing quite a bit of strength in the little muscle she currently has. Her need to be flexible has kept her from building much muscle.

Body Features

Tamarah's long fingernails are more like claws in shape. And they are not fake.

Facial Features

Tamarah's facial features includes high cheekbones, a heart shaped face and a straight nose. Her eyes are a light magenta, and have cat-like pupils.

Identifying Characteristics

Tamarah's once dark hair has been bleached and dyed a light sky blue. It's impossible to tell from her powers if she still dyes it or if it is naturally occuring, as the tuft on her tail is also the same shade of blue.

Physical quirks

In a release state, Tamarah takes on more feline like qualities. Sharper teeth, stronger nails, longer ears, and a decidedly lion looking tail; likely from devotion to Sekhmet.

Special abilities

Sekhmet's Blessing: Tamarah's worship and devotion to the lion headed goddess of war has granted Tamarah with some additional features in her released state. At most, Tamarah can incur this blessing of the Goddess three times per day, so long she keeps to prayer and sacrifices daily. In such a released state, Tamarah gains the cunning, sight, grace, and speed of a cat. Her ears grow longer and to aid her in balance, she may grow a tail as well. Her teeth and claws may mostly be cosmetic, but are still very much effective. However her strength and durability is only slightly increased. Tamarah can be knocked out of this form, or may become too tired or injured to retain it.   She Who Maims: Tamarah may get a blessing if she offers up a prayer for battle, promising blood and wrath. When her prayer is answered, one will soon be facing a large menacing lioness rather than Tamarah's human or released form. The size of the fabled Nemian Lion, Tamarah's lioness form is restricted to all that a lion can do, but it grants her the strength and ability to be vicious and deadly in close range to fullfill her promise to the Goddess of war. However the form is extensively taxing, causing Tamarah to tire out to a dead stop after a half hour. All energy to perform other tasks besides siphoning energy from others will be depleted. This means as time runs out, if Tamarah doesn't want to be helpless, she needs to flee before she changes back.   Soul Siphon: Tamarah can use a skull or one of her crystals in aiding drawing energy from people and creatures around her into her own energy. To a hightened degree, she might suck all the life out of surrounding small wildlife like rats and birds, and cause small flora like ferns and grasses to die. This pull of energy into her can reclaim energy spent on raising a body in the case Tamarah would rather lose just the body she rose rather than both the body and the energy. It can also give her a second wind when things get dire. At most Tamarah can hold double her normal energy.   Soul Search: Tamarah can sense souls both living and dead. If she becomes familiar with one, she can find them from up to 200 meters away. This also grants Tamarah with the ability to distinguish supernatural souls and strong souls that she can siphon from without much detection at all, or weak souls to avoid killing senselessly. In short spaces, Tamarah can send out a pulse of her energy to find nearby people just out of sight, similar to radar, in order to sneak through places she shouldn't be.   Corpse Radar: in the similar vein as Soul Search, Tamarah can locate dead bodies of people and creatures. Her search range per pulse of energy is thirty feet.   Death Raiser: Tamarah can use a quarter of her own energy, or a crystal/stone/skull stored with energy in order to raise a corpse. Without items stored with energy, or extra stored energy in her body, Tamarah is restricted to raising only three corpses, but this leaves her unable to do much without siphoning, including locking her out of the Blessing ability and the released form she can take. The strength and ability of the bodies depends on their condition and make. Birds can be scouts. Dogs may attack. Humans can be versatile tools. However the bodies can still be destroyed, and once they are, the bodies disintegrate and the energy is lost. Tamarah may elect to siphon the energy back into herself, saving it while the corpse will still turn to dust. A destroyed corpse can no longer be raised.   Foresight: through an extensive ritual Tamarah calls "Skull Speaking", she can tap into etherial noises around her to try and glimpse at future events that someone, or she, asks about. Firstly Tamarah needs a skull to speak to, and usually falls back on using her small blackbear skull. It has not failed her yet. Proceeding to surround it with stones, incense, candles, runes in her blood and absolute quiet on the floor, Tamarah will sit in front of it, and begin her ritual and enter a semi trancelike state. The futures she sees are mere flashes, and anything spoken to her is like a riddle as ahe becomes the voice's mouthpiece, meaning Tamarah must later on decipher the meanings. Tamarah can sometimes accidentally instead "ring" a demon. Luckily because her mind is separate, the worse that can happen is a loss of her information such as the demon learning her name to find her, so she must avoid questions focusing on her, or simply lie.

Apparel & Accessories

Tamarah may wear anything and everything, but when doing anything in the dark arts of necromancy, she wears predominantly black with splashes of red. This may include face paint. Tamarah has an arsenal of accessories from bones, to teeth, small and large skulls depending on what is needed, crystals, stones, and a tanned "lucky" rat tail. The rat tail and several small bones can be found on her at all times, including a spine bone from a cat.

Drop dead necromancer.
