Lesanidai

Lesanidai is a low magic fantasy setting with multiple layers of cosmology that each influence the world in different ways. There are numerous religions, countries, regions, and cultures intermingling on a couple continents.   There are three types of energy that govern the world and four 'spheres' of reality, each layered on top of the other: The Seed of Materiality, Lesanidai, Otherwhere, and The Essence of Rel. The energy types are Wai, Low and Rel.   Wai is the energy of materiality. Rel is the energy of chaos and concepts. Low is the energy of freewill, and was created when Wai and Rel collided to form Lesanidai and Otherwhere.   Lesanidai is the realm of humans, animals and what we would deem reality, while Otherwhere is the realm of spirits, and also serves as an afterlife for dead souls that get brought into a spirit's care upon death.   Few people can ever see into the abyss of chaos that is Otherwhere, and those few can only catch glimpses of spirits as they beg their god for visions of the lands across the veil. Most of the population of Lesanidai goes about their lives following the doctrines of the multiple cults they are participants of.
