Philip Chamborde

The current steward and ruler of Gazhou. Philip Chamborde is an almost criminal man, with direct ties to The Dogbeards. During the Second Dubrian War, he flouted the restrictions put in place by King Arya, and actively worked to smuggle goods to Faheem. Despite providing a supply of weapons, food, and medicine, Philip's efforts came to naught when Dubria conquered his buyers. Though trade has since re-opened with Dubria, and Dubrian occupied former Faheem territory, the trade in weapons is fiercely controlled in the regions that Gazhou reaches by sea trade, and there is little value in the market to them. As such, the city’s economy has been depressed, and Philip has aligned himself with other dissidents across the country to reallocate the powers of the crown, in the hopes that it will improve his own situation.
