Lempicka

Sharp winds cut across the red sand of a futuristic Nevada. Where Las Vegas once stood now stands the sparkling metropolis of Lempicka. Or at least it looks sparkling, the lights and glitz are all sponsored by your favorite corporate entities, and the sky is merely a projection. Artists and creative minds gather here from across the globe to design the latest line of slot machines, the architecture of a new casino, or the sleek fit of a robotic aid. The entire city sits indoors, where hundreds of floors criss-cross in a labyrinth of entertainment and upscale versions of your friendly neighborhood chain restaurant. Hotels have been defunct, the thousands of rooms within the Lempicka now house its inhabitants. The clear cut distinctive identities of the casinos of old Las Vegas weren't lost in Lempicka. The city is divided into themed districts, its main hub is in the sleek art deco style. Where even the purest acts of creativity are forced to become a glittering veil for ungodly amounts of profit it seems odd that Lempicka security officer, Hiram Rose, finds a newfound joy in his acquaintance with club performer, Esme Baker, and a mysterious guest under the name of Aster Reesmoke. All of this in the wake of a murder, and bingo night of course.
