Biography

Early Life

Endayla was born to a life of lower class in Harmonil. As the granddaughter of a royal bastard--supposedly the bastard son of Lord Breso Erchod--she presented with Power of Persuasion at the age of 6, which changed everything for herself and her family. They began to be treated with respect, or even fear. As she got older, Endayla began catching eyes both because of her looks and the triangle tattoo on her neck. She could have capitalized on this to claw her way into the imperant upper class, but she chose not to. Instead she charmed her way into favors and gifts of her admirers, preferring to be the big fish in a small pond instead of just another imperant on the hunt for power.

Woman of Secrets

In her late teens, Endayla stumbled upon the existence of Command fetishes, or the arousal from being Commanded in sexual situations. She began to take on clientele from all walks of life, taking pleasure from holding power over those much higher than her in station. What most of her upper-class clients didn't realize was that she was also drawing information out of them without their knowledge, information she could use for blackmail or to sell to the highest bidder. It was a very lucrative business.

Golden Tongued Madam

In 692, Endayla took her earnings and established The Golden Well, what would become one of the most well-known brothels in the Senva Square district of Harmonil. She was known for being as protective of her prostitutes (both male and female) as she was strict with them--to work for Endayla meant safety so long as you followed her rules. The lengths that she would go to in order to punish those who abused her prostitutes was legendary. One such client was discovered to have emasculated himself before stabbing himself in the chest. Rumor was that she had Commanded him to do so, but there was no proof to tie her to this supposed suicide.
During this time, Endayla still took on clients of her own, though only those willing to pay through the nose for her services. She no longer made house-calls, so any of her established clients would have to travel from the comforts of the upper class neighborhoods for the pleasure.

An Unexpected Ally

As an imperant, Endayla had much to lose if the royal line was to fall. Anti-imperant sentiment was gaining traction in Harmonil and her brothel had been vandalized a few times because of it, but Endayla had grown tired of being tied to the mistakes of royals. She allowed rebels to rent rooms in the brothel for secret rendezvous and provided information gathered through her network to Silver's Claw, for a price, of course. She would never actively take part in any of their activities, but she was an instrumental third-party broker for the cause.

Murder in the Streets

Following the fall of Queen Elena, anti-imperant sentiment spread like wildfire through Leland. Imperant families all over the queendom were being executed by angry mobs. Endayla didn't fear the violence, carrying about with her life as normal with the exception of securing the brothel for the safety of her prostitutes. Her cockiness would be her undoing, however, as just over a month after Elena's fall she was attacked in the street. Her tongue was cut out and she was strung up by her neck in front of The Golden Well.
