Basic Information

Anatomy

Enormous quadrupedal beasts that have large hunched shoulders and large arms flanking the head and neck and the tail is extremely long and separates the legs which are placed on the opposite sides of their body. Around the outer sides of their body is a thick rock shell while the underbelly is made from condensed magma and actively spew lava from millions of points. The tail is thick and wide and ends in a large hand which has large claws at the end of each of the 6 fingers which. The arms are proportionately enormous each being the same size as the rest of the body each. The entire forearm are both shaped like half a hemisphere each with extremely dense and strong stone like shell. The hands are slightly human like with 3 fingers and a long thumb coming off of the wrist. The heads are short and connect to short and thick necks. The Jaws and Maw of the head is very wide and is filled with thousands of rows of alternating rows of revolving teeth leading down the throat while the jaws have a massive pair of tusks that jut out of the lower jaw and a massive set of fangs around the gums which have a slight curve.

Biological Traits

Thanks to their immense size they have immense strength being able to shatter planets and in groups tug and move stars like dogs do a sleigh. Their speed is also great needing months to reach max speed which allows them to cross universes in a few weeks. They also have the ability to disappear and reappear in the form of teleportation though this takes a few seconds. Their flesh is similar in consistency to leather but is strong enough to withstand swimming in stars. The shell meanwhile was strong enough to survive supernova. The shell is also coated in thorns and spikes of different patterns and shapes, unique to the individual. These spikes, along with the claws and teeth are extremely sharp, capable of carving cleanly through entire planetoids made of Tungsten.

Genetics and Reproduction

Behemoths reproduce similarly to Mammals of earth. However, They don't have genders but rather the Larger of the 2 mating will mount the other as a male and the smaller one will take the role as the female and be impregnated.

Ecology and Habitats

They roam the emptiness of space within Midgard, the lower reaches of Vanaheim and Álfheimr and upper reaches of Jotunheim.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Behemoths are usually peaceful and only devour space dust, gas and the matter of the stars.

They are solitary creatures but give way to one who is larger than themselves.

The vast majority of their species reside within Midgard with the rest mostly residing in Vanaheim, Álfheimr and Jotunheim.

They are as intelligent as Elephants.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Across the entire body they have eyes which grant vision in all directions and see immense amounts of light and see immense detail identifying human sized individuals despite their immense size.

Body Tint, Colouring and Marking

The underbellies are dark grey with lines and patterns of bright yellow and red of lava. The shells though have different surfaces ranging from vast lands of rock, jiggered glass, volcanoes, ice etc. The rest of them are pitch black and have thick leathery like skin which is coated in grey scales which stand on end.
