Mireanda looked Jon up and down after he put on his armour.

"I never thought I was a knight in shining armour type of girl, but I might have to think about that one again." she said. Jon managed a little smirk.

"I don't think it will be shining for much longer. I think it'll get ruined today, and I'll probably get messed up pretty good too." he replied.

"As long as you don't die." Mireanda said.

"You know I can't promise that. It's war, people die. But no matter what happens, I hope you'll be fine. Both of you." Jon said.

"We will, I promise. And now you need to go win a war." Mireanda said. They locked eyes for a brief moment, then they both leaned in and kissed.

"Be safe." Jon said, and then took a deep breath and turned to leave.
