Tobin's Terrific Textbook
Mechanics & Inner Workings
This textbook is partially sentient, adding nearby spells and items to its pages as illustrated descriptions. Three times per day, the user may spend an action to activate one of the textbook's pages, summoning the chosen item. Depending on the given item, the following rules apply:
* Consumables: Any consumable item summoned by this book has half of its durabilty/uses, unless listed otherwise. The item otherwise functions as usual.
* Weapons, Reusable Items, and Armor: The Weapon or Armor becomes corporeal for 10 minutes, forming in your hands (or on your body in the case of armor). Any ammunition required is supplied by a magical quiver with unlimited ammunition. For damage purposes, the summoned weapon is considered magical, even if the item is not originally so. Additionally, the item is weightless, and will overlay any currently worn clothing (though it will replace the AC of currently worn armor)
* Spells: Any spell summoned by this textbook does not consume any materials or spell slots, but still retains its verbal and somatic parts.
