Mairin
Mairin hails from a Dentherion family who earns a modest living importing Dentherion goods. Unable to ignore the abuses of the Jilvayna people, she left home in her teens and joined the first rebel house she could find. She met Ciaran in Coriy and through him, Caitria.
Mairin is a rebel bodyguard. She is beholden to Caitria, though she will act in that capacity for anyone on the Blue Council. She is considered a vicious protector. She wields a sword, but prefers two knives, which are easier to hide while in public.
Mairin is shy in unfamiliar company, though she hides it well. Due to the nature of her duties, she has become suspicious of non-rebels, which can cause unexpected problems in social situations. She is an exceptional friend to those she loves, and a constant voice of disagreement against those she despises.
