The study of the End

The title of this thin booklet is burned into the simple leather covering in very stylistic cursive. Inside, the flowing cursive handwriting covers every page, only interrupted by the occasional sketch of high medical accuracy.

The book opens with "Death is not the end, it is merely the beginning of the end" and then goes on to describe in great detail all stages of how human corpses decay and rot when buried in soft dirt.

The booklet is sure to bring in graphic details on "differentiating between blisters before death and those caused by the body consuming itself hours after death", as well as "the viscosity of skin during liquidification".

On the bottom of the last page there is a sigil with an elvish description that says "Minds of Galha Taesi", next to which is a short inscription "Dedicated to my sister, Aerith".

A more observent look at the art reveals that the sketch used to visualise hair loss due to maggots has a slightly visible face that has no indication of the broken jaw like the sketched head has that is used to visualise tooth loss.
