Land of Estos

The Land of Estos comprised of the Six Kingdoms held together under the Emperor of Kaistal were all separate until a few decades ago. Until the Kaistallians in their ever growing need for power and land conquered the Six Kingdoms, but this did not come easily. They spent many, many years taking many kingdoms and the North, Skuedal was the last to fall in the year 452, one hundred and one years after Kaistal began the Kaistallian Unification, thus electing their Emperor and declaring peace on the mainland. However, Skuedal was not happy to be under this 'Great Empire,' many of their traditions and rights were taken away and those who continued practicing the old ways were rounded up and killed by Kaistallians.
