Tear of Daalia
Tear of Daalia is an heirloom passed on from generations to the next on the Daalia Royal family. Daalia received Tear of Daalia as a gift for supporting the Bluemarsh people's struggle for independence from the Avalonian regime.
It is said that when Tear of Daalia came to Daalia, River Casseia settled to its river bed and brought life to all around the river, adding prosperity to the land. Dry desert was replaced with grass at the beginning and later on palm trees were growing next to the river. Farmers could start growing large crop fields, helping the Royal city of Dahlia to grow.
During the Bluemarsh people's independence struggle against Avalonia, Daalia gave them support during hard times, took over refugees when other kingdoms were not welcoming any bluemarsh people on their territory and supported on building Sloops and Frigates for Bluemarsh to defend their islands. King Fennel of Daalia was an open-minded ruler as he had spent his time at Bluemarsh islands in his 20s learning about the islands and people of Bluemarsh. He made sure that Daalia was given help all around Daalia, even that it made the entire kingdom to suffer from the help they gave to Bluemarsh. When Avalonia was finally defeated, Bluemarsh was free, but Daalia was on the brink of an uprising from the people. Fennel had been focusing only on the war and neglecting his own people, which almost cost him his crown. Country was in ruins and river Casseia had almost dried up, which caused a famine as crops were scarce.
Bluemarsh though did not abandon their ally in the time of need and they send one of their 8 stones of life to Daalia. Once the stone arrived to the Capital city, the river started flowing and life came back to Daalia. After lots of misery and death, luck seemed to turn around and wipe the tears of the eyes from the people of Daalia. Stone was named The Tear of Daalia as a remembrance to the future generations of sacrifices they all need to make to gain a better future.
