Lahaina

Since before the chronicling of history, the nations had been at perpetual war for power. As the world population grew in size, and military tactics in brutality, natural resources dwindled. Even those in nobility were close to famine, as there respective generals seemed to use their leverage to take riches from their own nation, as well as their rivals.   After countless generations, the rulers of the worlds nations started negotiations of peace. The Grand Capital of Lahaina was established, behind the backs of every military leader, to form a great treaty for all nations. As an extremist declaration of the renouncing of mass violence, the rulers brought their military officials to be executed in the center of the Grand Capital.   Not long after the Formation, the rulers started to get a taste of what it's like to have more and more excess. As the generations came, kings and queens became more hungry for wealth and power. Negotiations of trade within the Grand Capital became more frequent and heightened in frequency.   In tandem to the evolving attitude of greed, organizations of brilliant witches started to find time and money to study the mysteries of magic. The revelation that such a force existed and could be of great use lead to royal grants being handed to develop the effectiveness of magic. Just as the new found fertility of natural resources caused an industrial revolution, a nearly identical movement was formed for sorcery.   With the swift development of technology and magic, it was only a matter of time before superweapons were developed as a precautionary measure rooted in distrust. It's become more apparent then ever that peace is a myth, and war still exist in both a state of a grand stalemate and money-driven espionage. Not a minute goes by where one in the world of Lahaina shivers at the thought of one ruler saying the wrong thing to another.
