Lagerian Hirya

Long before the written word, the Spirits made Lagerian Hirya their holy land. They terraformed vast settlements known today as the Three Realms, unable to be accessed through mundane means. Laria, the Realm of Light Magic, is a canyon oasis surrounded by miles of uninhabitable desert. Northbound, the snowy kingdom of Daacia or the Realm of Dark Magic is shrouded by treacherous mountains. Sivvia lies off the coast, the island Realm of Silver Magic, swirling in waters too dangerous for even man to tread.   At this time the First Winter was coming to an end, and the Spirits had decided to sacrifice their immortal, non-corporeal forms to exist in mortal host bodies. This limited their abilities and prevented them from destroying the very universe they had spent a millennia creating.   They gifted their mortal allies with permanent access to some of their magic and the Three Realms provided them a safe haven. But, as time passed, the Realms became ever divided, and distrustful of one another. Even in their human forms, the Spirits continued to wage war against themselves, vying for power and control. Beyond the confines of the realms, the Spirits and their followers are faced with the violence and persecution of men, who regard all magic as demonic.
