I know Nothing about "D&D Canon," and I am Very Tired.   Creation Myth:   Many eons ago, when the world was new and the Old Gods still walked the Earth, a Great War broke out between Law (led by Kiri-Jolith: god of honor and war) and Chaos (led by Nuitari: goddess of evil magic). The war raged on for hundreds of years, until the Neutral Gods intervened in the fighting, the majority leaning towards the side of Good.   Chislev, goddess of nature, grew angry with the senseless fighting, and made an agreement with Kiri-Jolith that, if he swore to end the fighting, she would use her power to banish the chaotic forces from the realm. Kiri-Jolith agreed to her terms, and cornered the chaotic forces at what is now the base of the Apólytos River, and split the continent between the warring bodies, sending the chaotic forces to three remote islands (now Teneviventis and The Unknown Realms to the South), and "officially" ending the Great War.   Sargonnas, god of vengeance and fire, angered by Chislev's meddling, came down to Teneviventis with his lover, Zeboim (goddess of the sea and storms), to plan another attack on the forces of Law. Chislev, however, knew of his plan, and travelled to Teneviventis herself to battle him. Using her power, Chislev opened the earth beneath Sargonnas, burying him beneath the island, trapping him for all eternity.   It is said, however, that Chislev did not truly finish the fight, for through Sargonnas's fiery spirit arose the great volcano Mons Igneus. In Teneviventis myth, the story goes that every eruption of the great mountain is a sign that Sargonnas is still beneath, fighting to break free from the Earth and face Chislev once again.   Zeboim fled into the sea, and was never seen again. Tales tell of her great storms wreaking havoc on all those who attempt to travel to the Unknown Realms, as she weeps for her lost love. However, it appears to be only myth.   Mainland: The Continent of Parvus   Islands: Teneviventis and The Unknown Realms to the South
