    Betrayal of Gwyddard
    Political event

During a parley for peace between the Consularum and his advisors with the High-King and the High Druid, the Aelithi broke the laws of the parley and took the Laeonessai as hostages to bargain with, killing their entourages, and extorting vast concessions in exchange for their lives. Both were later killed when Ynys Awen was razed.

  • The Shattering of Laeonesse
    The Razing of Ynys Awen
    Military action

Ynys Awen, with its sacred groves and large numbers of druids and bards, is systematically devastated. The forests are burnt, the sacred groves cut down, standing stones thrown down, and the entire island salted so nothing can live. All druids and bards and warriors executed and the inhabitants driven into exile, effectively ending the Laeonessai resistance against Aelithi occupation.
