The Book of Undying Days

Summary

There are many prophesies in the world, some have proven highly accurate, but most have their veracity and usefulness disproven, although some say that it just means the things foretold have not yet come to pass. Some of those prophecies, written by Almar Reyxalim, and collected in his "Book of Undying Days" claim to tell of the end of days when the Risen shall be overthrown and Xi rules over all.

Historical Basis

While many believe that the "Book of Undying Days" are the scribblings of a mad elf who studied the macabre for too long a time, others have seen some of his minor prophecies come to pass, especially during the Great Fallen Incursion. One part of his third chapter tells of a young woman who will be able to turn the Fallen back, and will come to glory for it. Scholars argue that this refers to Huron Half-elf, but others disagree for in the prophesy the woman is blind and uses magic to turn the Fallen back, and her death allows the Fallen to return.

Spread

The Book is considered apocryphal by the Children of the Light, and most copies of it have been confiscated and destroyed. The rumors around this action by the Children are that it portrays the Risen in a bad way and doing horrible things as they begin to lose to Xi and the Fallen. There are few copies remaining, and those that do are hidden away so as to not be confiscated and destroyed, as well as the owners being arrested for heretical beliefs.   It is believed to be one of the evil texts used by the Dark Ones in their rites to try to summon the fallen back to this world.
