Seeker
The title of Seeker is one bestowed upon a member of the Seekers of the Key when they have not only demonstrated their abilities but have been a committed member of the organization for at least a decade.
Qualifications
A candidate for the title of Seeker within the Seekers of the Key must have been actively working to meet the organizations goals for at least a decade and must have proven themselves worthy and valuable to the organization through contributing greatly towards their ends. Candidates may self-nominate, but are more likely to be nominated by an existing Seeker.
Appointment
When a candidate has been nominated the Seekers meet in secret to discuss the nomination. If a majority of the current Seekers approve, then the candidate is brought in to meet them and goes through several rounds of testing and questioning to determine suitability. If approved, the candidate immediately is welcomed into the ranks of Seekers. They are given a ring which identifies them as a Seeker, and allows instant communication with other Seekers.
Responsibilities
Once a person has been named as a Seeker, they must establish their own research location and begin researching the goals of the organization and coordinating with the other Seekers to achieve those goals. New Seeekers are given assistance as needed to setup their base of operations, and provided with materials needed to help start them, but it is expected that once started, they will work independently as much as possible, but communicate findings back to the group on a regular basis.
